Cleaner Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cleaner Supervisor to lead our cleaning team and ensure the venue is maintained at the highest standards.

The role involves assisting the Manager with supervision, training, and compliance of the cleaning department while monitoring the cleanliness and presentation of the venue.

  • Ensure daily cleaning requirements are delivered safely, efficiently, and consistently while meeting specifications, compliance, COVID safety, and food safety hygiene standards
  • Organise, supervise, and oversee cleaning staff on various shifts to ensure compliance with work schedules
  • Proactively contribute to the hands-on day-to-day workload of the team
  • Take sick calls and arrange for shift covers
  • Supervise and train staff on all requirements of their roles, safe equipment, and chemical usage
  • Coordinate and schedule activities on site to attain the best possible efficiency, ensuring all work performed meets or exceeds company standards

The ideal candidate will be an experienced cleaner with previous leadership experience, able to cope with duties requiring repeated lifting, bending, crouching, kneeling, pushing, pulling, sitting, and/or standing for extended periods of time.

This role suits someone who enjoys working as part of a team, is able to multitask, problem-solve, and has strong attention to detail.
