About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Director to join our team at Goodstart Prospect. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our centre and ensuring the highest quality early learning and care for our children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
  • Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
  • Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director's absence
  • Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide
About Goodstart Prospect

Our centre is located in a residential area, opposite Blackfriars Priory School. We have a purpose-built Early Learning centre with six separate and spacious age-based learning spaces. Our centre is designed to provide a stimulating and welcoming environment for children, with many sensory and play-based opportunities for learning.

Requirements
  • A Diploma or bachelor's in early childhood education
  • Hold a current Working with Children Check, or be willing to obtain one
  • Experience with leading and managing change within education, health or community services
  • Experience in delivering integrated early childhood services in areas of disadvantage
  • Proven commercial acumen with financial and operational performance management
