Strategic Financial Professional Sought

Co-Hive is seeking a seasoned finance expert to drive financial sustainability and scalability. As a key member of the team, you will provide strategic financial leadership, oversee grant management, build internal capacity, and ensure compliance in a rapidly evolving landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning & Control - Lead monthly and quarterly financial reviews, deliver insightful reports and forecasts, manage accounts receivable and payable, ensure payroll accuracy under SCHADS Award, and oversee audits and grant acquittals.
  • Grant Management - Allocate and track grant funds, support leadership to align funds with program outcomes.
  • Collaboration & Capacity Building - Stay across all programs to speak to invoicing, service delivery, and participant plans, build financial capability across the team, provide clear communication, and improve shared systems and documentation.
  • Leadership & Team Oversight - Lead and support a small internal and offshore finance team, model professionalism and integrity, collaborate on high-level strategy and risk management.
Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, CA/CPA qualified or working towards, 7+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in NDIS, disability, or funding-driven sectors, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, strong understanding of NDIS pricing arrangements, claiming requirements, and plan funding structures, demonstrated leadership and a proactive approach, experience managing grant funding, ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines, technical proficiency in Xero, Excel/Google Sheets, and financial reporting tools, familiarity with payroll and SCHADS Award compliance, and a passion for inclusion, autonomy, and real-world outcomes.
