About the Role

We are looking for reliable, caring and compassionate individuals to join our team as Domestic Services Assistants at VMCH Mulgrave.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out a range of domestic tasks to maintain hygiene standards in a home-like environment
  • Cleaning residents' rooms, including ensuites, furniture and equipment, as appropriate
  • Ensure common living areas, hallways and all other areas of the facility are maintained in a clean and tidy and safe condition

Requirements:

  • Interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families, employees and volunteers
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work without supervision
  • Well-developed prioritisation and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
