About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Domestic Services Assistant to join our team at VMCH Mulgrave site.

As a Domestic Services Assistant, you will work as part of a friendly and close-knit team to maintain a clean and safe environment for our residents.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out domestic tasks to maintain hygiene standards in a home-like environment
  • Cleaning residents' rooms, including ensuites, furniture, and equipment, as appropriate
  • Maintaining common living areas, hallways, and other areas of the facility in a clean and tidy condition
  • Ensuring the safe storage, security, and labelling of cleaning materials
  • Replenishing cleaning liquids and materials while observing safety procedures
  • Reporting stock shortages, breakages, and other issues to the Residential Services Manager
