About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Domestic Services Assistant to join our team at VMCH. As a Domestic Services Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for our residents. This includes cleaning residents' rooms, communal areas, and administrative spaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain residents' rooms, including ensuites, furniture, and equipment
  • Ensure common living areas, hallways, and all other areas of the facility are clean and tidy
  • Replenish cleaning materials and report stock shortages or breakages
  • Work collaboratively with the Residential Services Manager to ensure a safe and secure environment

  • Interpersonal skills, including effective communication and compassion
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Well-developed prioritization and organizational skills
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and discretion
