Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Specialist to join our team for a fixed-term period of six months. The role is crucial in strengthening our compliance foundations to ensure we meet regulatory obligations and internal policy requirements.

You will work across multiple business verticals, engaging with stakeholders to refine compliance frameworks, review obligations registers, and control structures.

  • Support business teams to understand their compliance obligations and ensure obligation registers are up-to-date.
  • If gaps exist, develop or refine and implement controls to meet those obligations.
  • Ensure all control owners are identified and current.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience in compliance or risk within financial services or a related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement compliance policies, controls, and risk frameworks.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and drive accountability.
