Job Title: Cyber Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our team. As a Cyber Security Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced individual to take on new challenges and make a real impact.

  • Maintain all required security audit records and prepare these for audit processes.
  • Lead investigations into local security incidents.
  • Ensure local security systems are effectively configured to detect and block threats.
  • Ensure vulnerability management is performed as per requirements.
  • Review requests for change from a security perspective and provide advice.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining standard operating procedures for local systems to ensure they comply with security policies.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Australian Citizenship required to attain Baseline Clearance.
  • A minimum of 3 years industry experience in an information security function.
  • Solid technical knowledge of current IT security systems, practices, and standards.
  • Experience in using SIEM, vulnerability management tools, intrusion detection, and other security systems.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills are essential.
  • Knowledge in information security and cyber security standards, frameworks, and code of practices such as ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27002, NIST Cyber Security Framework, etc.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or CISM - Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) will be well regarded.
