Senior Security and Emergency Response Leader

As a senior leader in the field of emergency management, security and intelligence, this role is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of assets.
Key Responsibilities- Emergency Response Planning: Develop comprehensive response plans to address crisis situations, including training programs and threat assessment tools.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Foster relationships with essential service providers and government agencies to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Security Strategy Development: Direct the development and implementation of national security strategy, policy and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Security Training and Competency Assessment: Work with contracted security providers to develop and deliver training modules that are fit for purpose and competency assessed.
- Intelligence Gathering and Environment Monitoring: Collaborate with government departments to understand local and global threats, developing and implementing core security strategies and actions.
- Risk Analysis and Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze data with security providers to understand local trends and develop appropriate response plans to reduce risks to assets.
- Leadership Experience: Significant experience leading security, intelligence or emergency response teams across national or multi-site environments.
- Crisis Management and Risk Mitigation: Proven experience in developing, implementing and managing crisis response frameworks and mitigating operational, reputational and physical security risks.
- Collaboration and Communication: Ability to advise and build effective relationships with senior leadership, government agencies and external regulators to meet compliance, mandate and ownership expectations.
