This key role requires an individual who can plan, deliver, and evaluate a range of events including trade exhibitions, sponsored engagements, and business development initiatives.

Key responsibilities include developing event collateral, websites, and promotional materials while maintaining sound understanding of marketing principles, brand management, and communications.

Additionally, managing digital tools and platforms for marketing and event delivery, as well as corporate sponsorship frameworks to identify, negotiate, and manage sponsorship opportunities is crucial.

Effective communication with stakeholders across government, industry, and the community while tailoring communication to suit different audiences is essential.

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing and event management or equivalent workplace experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Experience managing event and marketing budgets, working with suppliers, and navigating procurement or contract processes.
  • Ability to support the organisation's strategic objectives and reflect these in the planning and execution of marketing and event activities.
