Job Title: Test Automation Specialist

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Test Automation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the QA team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automation strategies and plans based on project requirements.


Main Responsibilities
  • Lead test execution and defect management to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Design and implement robust automation frameworks using Selenium and Cucumber.
  • Mentor and guide team members in automation testing best practices.
  • Contribute to creating solutions and approaches for QA proposals for our customers.

Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in Information Technology with a focus on automation testing.
  • Tertiary qualification in IT/Computer Science/related discipline.

Essential Skills
  • Strong experience in UI and API automation using Selenium and Playwright.
  • Experience in creating reusable and maintainable automation frameworks.
  • Ability to independently design, develop, and execute comprehensive automation frameworks.
  • Experience in BDD/TDD using tools like Cucumber and Playwright-BDD.
  • Experience in scripting/development (Java, J2EE, PL/SQL, Perl, Shell, Python).

Preferred Skills
  • Exposure to trends in Quality Engineering, such as RPA and AI/ML in QA.
  • Knowledge of GenAI tools like GitHub Copilot and their enterprise adoption.
