- Drafting and editing legal documents and correspondence.
- Preparing briefs to Counsel and managing Court documentation.
- Liaising directly with the Family Law Court and external stakeholders.
- Managing client communication, appointments, diaries, and email correspondence.
- Organising mediations and coordinating schedules.
- Conducting online searches and preparing reports.
- Handling billing processes and dictaphone typing.
- Maintaining accurate electronic filing systems.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- At least 3 years' experience as a Family Law Paralegal in Queensland.
- Strong drafting ability with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A professional, client-focused manner with outstanding interpersonal skills.
- High-level organisation and time management skills to manage competing deadlines.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand practice area.
- A genuine passion for family law and supporting clients through complex matters.
