Job Title: Customer Service Advocate

Location: City of Lake Macquarie, AU

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to provide exceptional support services to our customers. As a key member of our support network, you will work collaboratively with stakeholders to enhance customer independence and improve their overall wellbeing.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centered support to help customers achieve their goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with support networks and the broader community to promote customer independence in areas such as living skills, community engagement, financial and health service access, social activities, personal care, employment, education, and training.
  • Work closely with the program experience lead and wider team to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Support and supervise employees at a lower level as needed, and communicate effectively with other teams.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications (Cert 3 or 4 in Disability Support or equivalent experience).
  • Technical literacy in Microsoft Office and reporting systems.
  • Supervisory skills and basic HR management knowledge.
  • Physical ability to support customers, including lifting up to 10 kg.
  • Valid NSW Driver's C class license.
  • Current Police Check (not older than 3 months), NSW WWCC, NDIS WC.
