About the RoleWe are seeking passionate professionals who share our commitment to the social model of therapy and are eager to make a meaningful impact in the lives of people with disabilities. This exciting opportunity involves providing person-centered support and planning, building strong relationships with participants, their families, and support teams.
- You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop effective strategies and support plans that promote independence, inclusion, and quality of life for participants.
- Your expertise will be essential in identifying and addressing factors that may affect relationships and repairing breakdowns in a timely manner.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor or Master's degree in Disability (or equivalent) and be eligible for membership with DEAI. You will also need to demonstrate a strong understanding of the social model of therapy, empathy, and non-judgmental approaches.
