About the Role

The NSW Government is seeking a dedicated Injury Case Management Specialist to join their WHS unit. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting managers with care claims and injuries, ensuring procedural compliance.

You will coordinate claims with insurers and manage Workers' Compensation processes, developing and executing Return to Work plans that prioritize employee well-being. Your expertise in Safe Work NSW legislation and experience in government or large organizations will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support managers with care claims and injuries, ensuring procedural compliance.
  • Coordinate claims with insurers and manage Workers' Compensation processes.
  • Develop and execute Return to Work plans, prioritizing employee well-being.
  • Review and escalate complex workers' compensation claims.
  • Advise on workers' compensation issues, escalating when necessary.
  • Foster a safety culture through engagement and reporting.
Requirements
  • Minimum 12 months of experience managing workers' compensation and/or injury management claims.
  • Certificate IV or equivalent required, along with Advanced Return to Work Coordinator certification.
  • RTW certification in accordance with SafeWork NSW standards.
  • Strong knowledge of SafeWork NSW regulations.
  • Experience in government or large organizations is highly desirable.
