About the Role

Are you passionate about supporting individuals with disabilities and making a positive impact in their lives? We are seeking dedicated professionals who want to work collaboratively as part of our team, providing high-quality support services to people with mental health, cerebral palsy, intellectual impairment, and challenging behaviors.

As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care and support to individuals in their own homes or in our community settings. You will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients and contribute to a dynamic and supportive team environment.

  • Work in Dapto or Figtree area, NSW.
  • Support individuals with mental health, cerebral palsy, intellectual impairment, and challenging behaviors.
  • Minimum 25 hours of work per week, with opportunities for more work based on performance.
Key Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Great availability, including days, weekends, sleepovers, and awake shifts.
  • Passion for helping individuals with mental disabilities and complex behaviors.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Creativity and outside-the-box thinking.
  • Effective management of challenging situations.
  • Reliability and organization.
Essential Requirements

Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience working with mental health.
  • National Police clearance certificate.
  • Working with Children check.
  • First aid certificate and CPR.
  • Mental health first aid (desired but not essential).
