Epworth Freemasons is a leading maternity hospital in Victoria, Australia, seeking dedicated and compassionate Maternity Care Specialists to join our Postnatal and Birth Suite Unit/s in East Melbourne.
We are recruiting for Part-time or Full-time positions as Maternity Care Specialists to provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns. Job Description- Monitor and assess the health and wellbeing of both mother and baby, addressing any concerns promptly and effectively.
- Provide expert midwifery care to postnatal mothers and newborns, including advice on feeding, baby care, and maternal recovery.
- Ensure a seamless, patient-centered experience through collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
- Role-model empathy, compassion, and professionalism in your interactions with patients and families.
- Continuously enhance your skills by participating in ongoing education and staying current with best practices in maternity care.
- Midwifery qualifications and registration (essential).
- Previous experience in a Birth Suite and/or Postnatal ward.
- A strong understanding of contemporary maternity and newborn care practices.
- A passion for providing exceptional, empathetic care to women and their families.
- The annual salary range for full-time Maternity Care Specialists - AUD $71,622 - $100,564 + super + entitlements, depending on registration type, year level and position/experience (prorated for part-time).
- The highest level of salary packaging benefits available to healthcare workers up to $15,900 p.a. (pre-tax) plus an additional $2,650 (pre-tax) for food, beverage, and holiday accommodation expenses every year.
