Holistic Healthcare Provider

At Lifecare, we are seeking a skilled Holistic Healthcare Provider to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide holistic, integrated care to our clients enhancing their mobility and movement to promote their independence and wellbeing.

  • You will work with clients with a wide variety of physical conditions and tailor your care to make a real difference in your client's quality of life.

This role involves working within a collaborative team with Physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals.

  • Key responsibilities include:
    • Assessing symptoms and medical history, making a diagnosis and developing care plans for individuals
    • Manipulating muscles and other soft tissue/s
    • Educating and training your clients on all aspects of therapy
    • Providing your clients with goal setting activities and guidance on stretching, strengthening and improving posture
    • Referring your clients to other health professionals where required
    • Liaising with various healthcare professionals to ensure care plans are formulated and monitored
    • Documenting and reporting on your client's condition and progress

Requirements
  • Qualification in Remedial Massage and/or Myotherapy
  • Registration with Medibank Private and other private health insurance providers
  • Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History check upon successful application
