Teaching Opportunity in Remote Australia

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to join our educational community at Yirara College, located in the beautiful MacDonnell Ranges of Central Australia. This is an opportunity for you to make a real difference in the lives of Indigenous youth.

  • Generalist Teachers

What We Are Looking For:

  • A commitment to advance the interests and prospects of Indigenous youth
  • The willingness to uphold and support the Christian values of our community
  • Hold valid NT Teacher registration and Ochre Card
  • Previous experience in teaching ESL is desirable

Main Responsibilities:

  • To teach secondary-level subjects to Indigenous students from remote communities
  • Support the development of students' academic and personal skills
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum and educational programs
