Several vacancies are available, either ongoing or fixed for 18 months

This Clinical Nurse role involves delivering primary health care services in a challenging environment, contributing to overall health and wellbeing of individuals in care. You will work within a multidisciplinary framework operating 7 days per week, offering shift work opportunities.

You will report to the District Manager, providing sound clinical and professional care that positively impacts work processes, services, and clients within the specialty area.

To succeed in this role, you'll have:

  • Demonstrated understanding of issues affecting Aboriginal health
  • Demonstrated understanding of Primary Health Care principles
  • Graduate certificate in a relevant specialty area
  • Well-developed knowledge, skills, and experience in nursing, with ability to act as a clinical resource for other staff
  • Ability to mentor and support junior staff and contribute to clinical education and quality improvement initiatives
  • Ability to meet Northern Territory Correctional Services security clearance requirements
