Fund Manager

Description:

This is a key role in the management of direct property funds. The ideal candidate will have experience in investment analysis, financial modelling and risk assessment.

Responsibilities:
  • Investment Analysis & Documentation – Prepare and present high-quality Investment Memorandums for internal investment committees and external stakeholders, incorporating detailed financial modelling, market analysis, and risk assessment.
  • External Adviser Management – Appoint, brief, and manage relationships with legal, tax, and financial advisers to ensure efficient and effective transaction execution.
  • Capital Structuring & Debt Management – Arrange, negotiate, and manage debt facilities, ensuring optimal capital structure in line with fund strategy and risk parameters.
  • Capital Management – Oversee and actively manage the fund's capital position, including capital calls, distributions, reinvestments, and liquidity planning.
  • Financial Modelling & Reporting Oversight – Maintain and oversee the fund's financial model, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and alignment with investment strategy; review and approve associated fund reporting for investors and internal management.
  • Stakeholder Engagement – Collaborate with investors, capital partners, lenders, and internal teams to ensure alignment of objectives and transparent communication.
  • Transaction Execution – Lead the execution of acquisitions, disposals, and capital raisings in coordination with the Head of Funds Management.
  • Performance Monitoring – Track and report on fund performance against strategy, identifying opportunities to enhance returns and manage risks.
Requirements:
  • Experience in investment analysis, financial modelling and risk assessment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Highly organized and able to meet deadlines.
