Employment Facilitator for Young People with Disabilities

Role Overview

APM Futures is seeking a skilled and compassionate Employment Facilitator to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering highly individualized employment supports to NDIS participants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized support and mentorship to participants to encourage skills development and increase their capacity for work.
  • Deliver person-centered supports to participants transitioning from school to work.
  • Provide on-site support once employment has commenced and assist with integration.
  • Travel as required for service delivery and support of participants.

Requirements

  • Eligibility to work in Australia.
  • A current driver's license and a comprehensively insured vehicle.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Willingness to complete a Criminal History Check.
  • Able to pass a Working with Children Check.
  • Able to pass a NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Able to pass and complete an NDIS Worker Orientation Module prior to commencement.
