Residential Care Leader

About the Role:
  • Oversee the delivery of excellent resident outcomes by ensuring high-quality clinical care is provided at all times, adhering to Aged Care quality Standards and CHL policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to clinical and support teams to ensure the achievement of quality resident outcomes.
  • Work safely and closely adhere to all policies and procedures, including IPC, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Assume a secondary leadership role to the Residential Manager.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • A genuine passion for delivering high-quality care to the elderly.
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • In-depth understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of AN-ACC assessment processes.
  • Comprehensive clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of workplace health and safety.
  • Previous experience working within a Residential Aged Care setting in a similar leadership role.
  • Strong coaching/training skills and the ability to influence others.
  • A customer-centric approach to business.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance.
