About the Opportunity

ALS Environmental presents an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Field Technician to become an integral part of our operations. This role is designed for individuals who are eager to develop their skills while supporting a diverse range of clients.

Role Overview

The Field Technician will be tasked with conducting essential field sampling services across various sectors, including health and environmental industries. This position offers hands-on experience and the chance to work in dynamic environments.

Daily Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Utilizing a company vehicle to travel to designated sites.
  2. Executing pre-defined sampling protocols in the field.
  3. Documenting samples for both client and laboratory tracking.
  4. Transporting samples to the laboratory for analysis.
  5. Identifying potential enhancements to client services based on field observations.
  6. Assisting in laboratory tasks as needed.

This role promises variety, with opportunities to gather samples from diverse landscapes, contributing to significant environmental and commercial decisions.

Core Responsibilities

Essential duties include:

  1. Complying with all safety regulations and management processes.
  2. Operating light vehicles, including off-road driving.
  3. Maintaining and calibrating field equipment.
  4. Collecting samples from specified locations.

  2. A valid manual driver's license.
