Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Liaison Officer to join our team in Stuart Park. As a Liaison Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting our veterans and their families by engaging them in our services and promoting positive health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Actively engage with veterans and their families to ensure they receive high levels of supportive engagement when accessing our services.
  • Design and implement social and community connection activities as part of our holistic approach to positive health outcomes.
  • Represent Mates4Mates at external events to promote awareness of our holistic approach to veteran and family support and recovery.
Requirements
  • A history of training and/or service in the ADF or a close connection; or demonstrated experience working with current or ex-service personnel in a similar role.
  • A love for the great outdoors and all things physical such as hiking, bike riding and other sports activities.
  • High levels of self-awareness and ability to adjust your communication style to suit your audience.
  • Ability to maintain a calm and professional approach when supporting clients who may be experiencing mental and physical health issues.
