The Role

We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Supervisor to oversee frontline activities and personnel on our New Energy construction projects. This role involves supervising electrical construction tasks, coordinating resources, ensuring adherence to QA and HSSE documentation, overseeing staff and subcontractor performance, reporting hazards, and engaging in safety training programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead electrical construction teams to ensure safe and effective project progression.
  • Coordinate resource allocation to fulfill project plans and outage requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with quality assurance and health, safety, security, and environmental (HSSE) protocols.
  • Oversee the performance of UGL staff and subcontractors, promoting professional standards and apprentice development.
  • Report incidents and hazards according to company guidelines.
  • Participate in safety training initiatives and contribute to developing safe working procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a construction environment.
  • Proven track record in supervisory roles.
  • Electrical trade qualification.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
