Senior Health, Safety and Environment Professional
About the Role:This is a senior-level position that plays a pivotal role in driving a proactive health, safety, environment and quality culture across all operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop, implement and maintain robust HSEQ policies, procedures and management systems to ensure compliance with legislation and client requirements.
- Maintain and update HSEQ documentation, including training records and audit findings to support organisational goals.
- Provide guidance and support to operational and site-based teams to promote a culture of safety and excellence.
- Conduct site audits, inspections and incident investigations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective action plans.
- Coordinate and deliver HSEQ training, inductions and toolbox sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Stay current with health, safety and environmental legislation to ensure organisational compliance and competitiveness.
- Lead subcontractor assessment, onboarding and compliance monitoring to maintain high standards.
- Support tender preparation and submissions in consultation with the Head of HSEQ to secure new business opportunities.
- Assist with emergency response planning, injury management and workers' compensation documentation to ensure employee well-being.
