About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Dispute Resolution Specialist to join our Workers Compensation team at GB - Global. This role will be responsible for representing our organization throughout the conciliation process, determining fair outcomes for workers compensation disputes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Representing our organization at conciliation conferences, ensuring a professional and courteous approach.
  • Facilitating effective communication with various parties, including injured workers, conciliators, panel members, and legal representatives.
  • Conducting pre-conciliation analyses to prepare for conferences and determine fair outcomes.
  • Engaging with the Workplace Injury Commission (WIC) to resolve disputed matters.
  • Providing high-quality customer service to internal customers, injured workers, and legal representatives.
  • Settling claims within client service instructions, WorkSafe Victoria legislation, and company guidelines.
  • Handling daily workflow and maintaining GB - Global's client service standards.
  • Effectively communicating conciliation outcomes and ensuring timely action.
Requirements
  • Experience working within the Worker's Compensation industry and applying Work Cover legislation.
  • Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • A tertiary qualification in Law, Business, or an industry-specific certification.
  • A current and valid Driver's License.
