Role Summary:

Dan Murphy's is seeking a Communications Manager to join its team in Sydney.

This 12-month fixed term opportunity will see you developing and implementing communication strategies that engage, motivate and inform the team.

As a skilled communicator, you'll be responsible for managing a Communications Specialist, partnering with cross-functional teams and executing internal communications across various channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and executing comprehensive internal communication strategies that align with overall business objectives.
  • Lead the delivery of clear, concise and purposeful communications through targeted mediums that support the team's understanding of the business strategy and connect to the brand.
  • Manage the internal profile and communications plan of key leaders, notably the Managing Director.
  • Partner cross-functionally with the People and Marketing teams to define the 'tone of voice' in communications, ensuring it's aligned to the EVP and the brand.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key internal stakeholders.
  • Plan and deliver key annual activations including Christmas & Strategy Roadshows, internal town halls and events that connect teams across the business to the Dan Murphy's and Endeavour Group strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand identity across all touchpoints.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of internal communications, making recommendations and improvements to enhance the effectiveness of all communications.

  • Natural storyteller with excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to work with and communicate at all levels of the organisation.
