About Our Senior Educator

The role of a Senior Educator is pivotal in driving the professional development of our team members while fostering strong relationships with children, families, and the community.

This position requires exceptional leadership skills to guide teams in creating and implementing innovative early learning programs aligned with current best practices.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Nurturing and maintaining meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the centre community.
  • Leading and guiding teams in developing and implementing an imaginative early learning program.
  • Documenting and sharing with families their child's progress and development.
  • Actively contributing to the implementation and adoption of the Guardian Curriculum framework.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Educator who holds a completed Certificate III and/or Diploma in Children's Services, has prior experience in long day-care, and possesses sound knowledge and practical application of the NQF and EYLF frameworks.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:
  • A relevant qualification such as a Certificate III and/or Diploma in Children's Services.
  • Prior experience in a similar long day-care setting.
  • Solid understanding and implementation of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
