Job Title: Master Artisan

The Senior Painter role is a key position in our team, requiring high-level artistic expertise and leadership skills. We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Master Artisan.

Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver high-quality paint and roto tasks with minimal supervision.
  2. Collaborate with team members to define looks for key events and shots.
  3. Provide artistic feedback to junior artists and contribute to the development of techniques and efficiencies.
  4. Mentor less-experienced artists and assist in creating scripts and templates.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and tools, and share knowledge with the team.

Key Requirements:

  1. Strong communication and time management skills.
  2. Aesthetically and creatively capable of producing high-quality images.
  3. Team player with direction and attention to detail.
  4. Drive for results and ability to plan priorities.
  5. Good interpersonal and analytical skills.

Technical Specifications:

  1. Proficient in Silhouette and Nuke for roto/paint tasks.
  2. Advanced skill in hand painting techniques using Silhouette.
  3. Strong proficiency in multi-element integration and edge work.
  4. Knowledge of photography, composition, lighting, color and motion.
  5. Solid understanding of image pipeline from capture to delivery.
