Job Title: Part Time Membership

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accurate membership records and data to ensure optimal administrative efficiency.
  • Process new member applications, update existing member details, and facilitate seamless communication with members.
  • Respond to inquiries and provide exceptional customer service to maintain a positive relationship with union members.
  • Support the organisation and coordination of union events and meetings, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Provide general administrative support, including filing, photocopying, and data entry, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of administrative processes and procedures, enhancing overall organisational effectiveness.

About this Role:

This is a 12-month contract position. We are seeking a skilled and organised individual to work part-time (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) as a Part Time Membership & Administration Officer.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar administrative or membership-focused role, showcasing expertise in record-keeping and data management.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with union members.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
  • Commitment to the values and objectives of the trade union movement.
