Part Time Membership & Administration Officer - 12 month contract

The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and organised Part Time Membership & Administration Officer to join the Australian Manufacturing Workers Union team in Wollongong, NSW on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. This is a 12-month contract role. You will play a key role in supporting the union's membership administration and providing high-quality administrative assistance.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain accurate membership records and data
  • Process new member applications and update existing member details
  • Respond to member inquiries and provide excellent customer service
  • Assist with the organisation and coordination of union events and meetings
  • Provide general administrative support, including filing, photocopying, and data entry
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of administrative processes and procedures
What Werom Looking For
  • Proven experience in a similar administrative or membership-focused role
  • Excellent data management and record-keeping skills
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to the values and objectives of the trade union movement
