Quality Assurance Role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Officer to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to shape and elevate quality systems in an innovative food manufacturing environment.

Job Description

This role combines hands-on quality oversight with strategic technical leadership. You will ensure speciality products meet the highest safety and quality standards while driving process improvements, supplier excellence, and innovation.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Conducting QC checks and testing across production to maintain food safety and compliance.
  • Leading projects that enhance processes, supplier standards, and operational efficiency.
  • Developing and maintaining product specifications, recipes, and nutritional panels.
  • Training and mentoring production teams to foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  • Leads audits, CAPA, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar role (hybrid - QC & Technical Lead).
  • Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, BRC/SQF, and ISO 22000 standards.
  • Hands-on QC and laboratory experience within food manufacturing.
  • An analytical problem-solver with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience in recipe/specification management and data-driven quality reporting.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field; HACCP/Quality certifications highly desirable.
