Senior Food Quality Assurance Professional

As a seasoned senior food quality assurance professional, you will be responsible for leading audits and ensuring the highest level of quality and compliance with relevant standards.

\Key Responsibilities:\
  • \
  • Plan and conduct comprehensive process audits to ensure adherence to relevant standards and regulations.\
  • Apply knowledge of business improvement techniques to drive continuous improvement within client organizations.\
  • Coordinate internal and external communications to ensure seamless client management and support.\
  • Implement consistent policies and procedures across all client engagements.\
  • Demonstrate a strategic understanding of clients' businesses while maintaining attention to detail.\
  • Ensure timely completion of audits and maintain accurate records.\
  • Develop and implement effective quality control measures to prevent non-compliance issues.\
  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff members on quality assurance best practices.\
  • Conduct regular reviews and analysis of audit results to identify areas for improvement.\
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging trends in food safety and quality.\
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.\
  • Stay informed about global food safety standards, including HACCP-based programs and GMP principles.\
  • Advise clients on best practices for implementing quality systems and addressing quality-related issues.\

Selection Criteria:

  • \
  • Formal tertiary or secondary qualifications in Food Technology, Microbiology, Agriculture, Packaging, or related disciplines.\
  • A minimum of 8 years full-time experience in the food chain industry, with at least 2 years in quality assurance or food safety functions.\
  • Sound knowledge of Quality and Food Safety fundamentals, including HACCP-based programs and GMP principles.\
  • Demonstrated experience working with multiple food industry sectors and proficiency in various auditing standards.\
  • Commitment to ongoing professional accreditation and development, as well as demonstrated commitment to equal opportunity employment practices.\
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.\
  • Flexibility to travel extensively and adapt to changing environments.\
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other productivity software.\
