The role of Sales Agronomist is a key position in our commercial team, focusing on the development and growth of Yara's biological portfolio in Australia. This includes championing our innovative products to producers, distributors, and industry professionals through product education, application support, and performance insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Specialization: Develop and maintain deep knowledge of our products, including their applications, benefits, and market trends.
  • Demand Creation: Design and implement strategies to increase awareness and adoption of our biological products among target audiences.
  • Agronomy Training: Deliver training sessions to customers, agronomists, and industry professionals on best practices for using our biological products.
  • Field Support: Provide technical support to customers in the field, ensuring they get the most out of our products.
  • Market Development: Collaborate with the commercial team to develop and execute market development plans that drive sales and revenue growth.
Requirements
  • University Degree in Agriculture/Science/Business Marketing (preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years working experience within the segment of crop nutrition and plant bio-stimulants
  • Deep understanding of agriculture business and specifically plant nutrition
  • Strong commercial mindset, enthusiastic and reliable
  • Knowledge of marketing, market and customer segmentation, sales techniques, planning, customer relations, negotiation techniques, communication, interpersonal relationships and product development
  • English communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written
