Project Manager Role

The primary responsibility of the Site Engineer is to oversee the successful completion of infrastructure projects. This involves ensuring that projects are finished on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation and systems for quality control, safety management, and environmental protection.

You will work closely with Project Managers to assist with planning and programming, providing 4-6 week lookaheads to support their decision-making process. Additionally, you will read and interpret design plans and drawings, participate in client/contractor meetings as necessary, and assist with cost tracking and invoicing of subcontractors across various packages of work.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver projects to the overall program's cost and time requirements, leading to high client satisfaction.
  • Maintain documentation and systems for quality, safety, and environmental management.
  • Assist with planning/programming to support Project Managers with 4-6 week lookaheads.
  • Able to read and interpret design plans and drawings.
  • Participate in client/contractor meetings where required.
  • Assist with cost tracking and invoicing of subcontractors across different packages of work.
Key Qualifications:
  • Tertiary education in civil engineering, construction, or a related field.
  • Solid foundation of site-based experience across civil or marine packages.
  • Ability to understand design, solve problems, learn, adapt, and continually challenge yourself.
  • Well-developed communication skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with subcontractors, local authorities, internal staff, and clients.
