The ProjectGenus have been engaged to upgrading the 33kV power line at the Rio Tinto Hope Downs 1 mine site. 

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced and highly skilled Construction Supervisor to join our team for the Rio Tinto Hope Downs 1. In this pivotal role, you will lead and mentor a dedicated trades crew, providing clear daily direction, guidance, and support to ensure all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

As a key member of our leadership team, you will:

  • Oversee day-to-day site operations and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to meet project milestones.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Champion our core values: Integrity, Collaboration, Innovation, Safety, and Mateship.

About You

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Section 26 training is essential.
  • Manage quality documentation, ITR, ITP and MDR's.
  • Complete site based reporting, daily reporting, weekly reporting.
  • Proven leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage diverse teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
