Strategic Policy Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Policy Officer to contribute to the formulation and implementation of strategic policy responses to emerging issues impacting Queensland state schools.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic policy initiatives across various functions, including procedural reviews, project management, and high-level document writing.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to senior officers on policy development, program design, and implementation.
- Lead research, analysis, review, and evaluation of complex policy, procedural, and program matters.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information in a clear and structured manner.
- Ability to research and analyze policy issues, synthesizing complex detail into timely and effective advice.
- Capacity for autonomous work practices with proven experience in producing positive outcomes in complex environments.
