Job Opportunity: Lead Strategic Policy and Financial Advisors are sought by the Queensland Treasury to provide expert advice and leadership in delivering strategic, risk-based financial and policy outcomes.

  • Leadership Role: This is a key role that involves leading high-performing teams in a central agency, guiding them to deliver strategic, risk-based financial and policy advice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Influence major decisions across government portfolios
  • Lead the delivery of strategic, risk-based financial and policy advice
  • Guide stakeholder relationships across government and influence outcomes
  • Oversee the development and implementation of financial and non-financial performance reports
  • Prepare high-level briefings, reports, presentations, and policy submissions
  • Represent Treasury in cross-government committees and ministerial briefings
  • Drive team strategies aligned with Treasury's priorities

Requirements:

  • Proven leadership in providing financial, budgetary, and/or policy advice
