Job Title: Overhead Line Erector

This is a full-time position to join the transmission lines installation team on a large-scale renewable energy project.

The successful candidate will be responsible for safe handling, movement and positioning of transmission line materials and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handling and positioning transmission line materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Operating heavy machinery with precision and care.
  • Conducting daily inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Communicating effectively with other team members, including riggers, warehouse personnel and dogmen.
  • Calculating load weights to ensure safe handling procedures are followed.
  • Assisting other workforce members with manual tasks where necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar role with a strong focus on safety.
  • Experience working on large-scale infrastructure or renewable projects is highly desirable.
  • Possession of a High Risk Work License – C6, DG, RG.
  • A Full HR class driver's license at minimum, with a willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical and police check.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a commitment to upholding high safety standards.
