Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Telecommunications Coordinator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to contribute to the success of our organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating telecommunications activities, including planning, managing and executing projects. They will also be required to interface with operations, maintenance, engineering and outside vendors and subcontracted personnel to obtain specific information in relation to onshore maintenance requirements.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to communicate across all levels. They will also possess strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interface with operations, maintenance, engineering and outside vendors and subcontracted personnel to obtain specific information in relation to onshore maintenance requirements.
  • Provide expert advice, support, technical or functional information (related to estimating and work pack preparation) as required.
  • Development and coordination of work packs and supporting documentation to ensure efficient execution.
  • Coordinating maintenance activities in accordance with client procedures and standards, through to implementation of maintenance execution plans.
  • Overseeing the full spectrum of planning, considering materials, resourcing and equipment procurement.
  • Maintaining and developing a knowledge base of maintenance management systems and planning tools with daily use of SAP.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Essential qualifications include: Australian Trade certificate in Electrotechnology, Communications or equivalent.

Highly desirable qualifications include: Electrical licence - Restricted or above.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive working knowledge and experience with SAP PM or other CMMS Systems, Proficiency in the use of key Microsoft products (Word & Excel), and Experience in certified equipment and hazardous areas (EEHA inspection).
