We are seeking a skilled Explosive Ordnance Engineer to join our team. As an Explosive Ordnance Engineer, you will provide technical expertise in the design and development of fuze and ignition systems for guided weapons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Provide specialist engineering advice on fuze and ignition system safety and design">
  • Develop and review technical assessments related to fuze and ignition system design safety">
  • Implement procedures and guidelines for the development of fuze and ignition assessments">
  • Represent the interests of the organisation in domestic and international engagements">

Requirements:

">

An Engineering degree in a suitable field and at least 2 years relevant experience, or a technical/trade background with 8+ years of demonstratable relevant Defence experience

">

Demonstrably elevated level of professional knowledge on guided weapon systems and/or Explosive Ordnance

">

Relevant experience in engineering artefact development and review activities

">

Experience using ASDEFCON principles

">

Guided weapons / munitions

">

Defence technical regulatory frameworks (preferably Guided weapons / EO)

">

Explosive ordnance, materiel management, technical management

">

Certification/integration activities, and EO / weapons-related Land, Sea, and Air operations experience
