Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day logistics operations and ensure timely order fulfillment at our Visy facility. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the supervision of the dispatch team, overseeing work and motivating them to achieve efficiency, accuracy, and key performance indicators.
  • Ensure adequate labour coverage aligns with delivery schedules, SLAs, and budgets.
  • Develop process improvement plans in line with business strategy.
  • Audit processes, document control, and report on findings, along with recommendations to the Warehouse Manager.
  • Liaise with production teams, Customer Service, and Yatala Warehouse operations to execute or plan against daily movements and urgent requests.
  • Maintain records of work performed to facilitate accurate invoicing and payment of employees.
  • Investigate service failures, losses, or damage to goods and develop remedial action to prevent recurrence.
  • Manage operating expenses and wages within budget constraints.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar Dispatch or Warehouse environment, preferably as a Team Leader or Supervisor.
  • Prior experience in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Logistics Industry.
  • Ability to balance commercial, operational, and functional requirements.
  • Strong commercial data reporting presentation skills.
  • Good understanding of data extraction and evaluation.
  • Customer Service focused, analytical skills, and process-oriented.
