Group Facilitation Opportunity

This role involves working with adolescents who are struggling with emotional or behavioural challenges in a specialized care setting.

  • Deliver group therapy sessions for young people experiencing mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and self-harm or suicidal thoughts.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop tailored treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each client.

Essential Criteria:
  • A minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience in mental health and group facilitation.
  • Training in therapy modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
  • Ability to plan, organize, and facilitate effective skills groups.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capacity to work effectively within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Deliver group therapy sessions that address a range of mental health challenges.
  • Provide support and guidance to clients as needed.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience working with adolescents in a clinical setting.
  • Knowledge of therapeutic approaches and interventions.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances.
