The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating skills groups, engaging young people and working effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Develop and deliver group therapy programs that address the specific needs of adolescents with mental health issues
- Facilitate skills groups and provide support to individuals as needed
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to group therapy programs
- Maintain accurate records and reports on program participation and outcomes
To be successful in this role you will need:
Essential Criteria:
- A minimum of 3 years post graduate experience in mental health and group facilitation
- Training and experience in therapy modalities (CBT, DBT)
- Ability to plan, organise and facilitate skills groups
- Skill in engaging young people
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience working in adolescent mental health services
- Knowledge of evidence-based group therapy programs
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities
