Lead Powerline Designer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Structural Transmission Line Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of innovative transmission line solutions.
">Required Skills and Qualifications">- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
- At least 10 years' experience in structural design work with an emphasis on transmission line and substation structural design
- Strong knowledge of Australian Standards: AS/NZS 7000, AS 4100, AS 3600, AS 3995 and AS 1170
- Experience in computer design packages such as PLS Tower, PLS Pole; Development of conductor loads for transmission and substation structures
- Ability to solve complex technical problems through a systematic approach or innovation
This role offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse projects including wind, solar, battery storage, pumped hydro and utilities works. You will have the chance to utilize your expertise in structural design, particularly in transmission line and substation structural design.
">Others">This role is ideally based in our Tasmanian office; however, flexible work arrangements are considered. Given the diversity of our clients and projects, there may be some local, national and international travel required.
