About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Project Manager to join our team in Canberra. As a highly respected leader, you will be responsible for managing a range of service improvements and capabilities for Civilian Armoured Vehicles (CAVs). The department operates and manages a fleet of over 100 CAVs constructed by various armourers in international locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Develop and execute communication plans, create content for various channels, and ensure clear and effective communication within the project team and with stakeholders.
  • Change Management: Assist in developing and implementing change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions and successful adoption of new processes and systems.
  • Training and Development: Deliver training programs and project plans supporting the successful implementation of project initiatives.
  • Fleet Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to project teams, including scheduling, documentation, and coordination of activities.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in project management or a similar role, with vehicle fleet management experience essential.
  • Skills: Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, proficiency in creating infographics and other visual aids, experience in change management practices and principles, and experience in developing project plans.

As a security designated position, candidates must hold a current Australian Government Negative Vetting Level 1 Security Clearance prior to commencement.
