Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-focussed Construction Foreman to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing commercial building maintenance, general construction, and property maintenance tasks.

About the Role
  • Manage and co-ordinate other trades, oversee workmanship, and meet project timelines and budgets.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, sub-contractors, and all team members.
  • Accurately interpret plans, estimate materials required, and manage the ordering process.
  • Maintain a healthy and safe environment using company OHS policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have:

  • Daily management and coordination of other trades, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and advanced time management skills, proven leadership skills, high attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Relevant building qualification, white card, silica, and asbestos certificates.
  • Current First Aid Certificate (including CPR).
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience as a leading hand and building industry experience in both residential and commercial construction and maintenance and repairs.
  • Experienced in OHS with a proven record of ensuring a healthy and safe environment for employees, contractors, and visitors.
  • Understanding and experience with SWMS, project scheduling, reading and interpreting plans, and ITPs.
Salary and Benefits

Our salary range is between $90,000 - $100,000 per annum, negotiable based on experience. We also offer a vehicle and superannuation benefits.
