Process Technician Job Description

Main Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced Process Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the repair and testing of valves and associated components in both workshop and site environments.

The ideal candidate will have a proven mechanical aptitude, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Duties include:

  • Repair and test valves and associated components in both workshop and site environments
  • Closely toleranced and interface fitting
  • Understanding bolt torque requirements
  • Pressure testing valves as per specification
  • Fault finding and resolving problems within their area of competence
  • Complying with Quality System Requirements and Procedures
  • Using control components such as positioners, regulators, and volume boosters
  • Variety of other workshop, site & offshore related tasks as required

Key Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Proven mechanical aptitude and capability to deliver quality work
  • Experience in Process Engineering environment either in a workshop or on-site
  • Ability to work in an adaptable team and use own initiative
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions
  • Track record of being attentive to accuracy and detail in their work
